My design team has build hundreds of websites over the last 10 years for clients, during that time I came across challenges that all website developers have ran into at one point of time or another... Some even consistently struggle with this phase of the website design process. This particular struggle has caused valuable time to be wasted and it comes with a good amount of aggravation as well.
What I'm referring to is the design layout and actual theme of the website. Getting on the same page with your client can actually be challenging if you don't have a good amount of design references to get the ideas flowing by both the client and the designer.
In the past, most designer will ask the client if they have a website that they know of that they like as far as style, functionality etc... Then they would basically get the content, some images (if the client has some) and come up with a mock up of what they think will work for that client.
The problem with this process is that most of the time, as a designer, you don't just hit the nail on the head and design the perfect website that your client is visioning. So this means that you go back and forth and obviously this takes time and get dragged on for days or even weeks.
So what exactly is our "design library" all about and how does this help speed up the design process and not only that, but also produce a better website that both you and the client love?
Our design library is set up into 2 categories, 1. website themes, and 2. website sections. Website themes from over 60 different niche markets that not only have professionally designed graphics and modernly designed website features, but also showcase how each website is mobile responsive and shown on all devices. Then we have pre-built website sections, for example headers, footers, about us, testimonials, services, plans, products, etc... So that our clients can get ideas that will fit their specific needs for how their website will flow and function.
The Results:
This design process creates "creativity" and allows the client to really see how professionally designed websites should work. Yes they can also look at our portfolio
of custom websites we've built for other clients, but those are customized to that specific business.
The best part about of design library is actually our design system that we've created to go along with the actual designs we have created. What this system does is allows our clients to take any website theme, customize it however they want, (obviously with the help of our design team) then if they want to swap out a section or add a new section, they can do it easily without the time consuming process that we've all run into in the past.
